From Hallways to Aisles: Bohemian

Written By Amanda

One thing you need to know about me is I want to travel the world. Emerge myself in other cultures, discover new traditions and learn so much more than books could ever teach me. And as spring and summer inch closer, I can’t help but dream of traveling to Morocco. Their bright, bold colors inject happiness into every room and there’s just something about those hanging lanterns that make everything seem so magical.

Inspired by: bold colors, pretty patterns, Marrakech, hanging lanterns, glitter and lace, fresh flowers, Moroccan leather poufs, ornate architecture, exotic and traditional design

I love the idea of a cocktail area filled with multi-colored Moroccan leather poufs and pretty, printed pillows. Hanging lanterns give a warm glow to the night while bright colored linens spruce up a table. Don’t forget to keep the design eclectic by adding unique decor items like animal figurines, elaborate vases and tons of candles!

Every bohemian bride has to complete their look with a crown of flowers and I just love a loose, fishtail braid for a romantic, boho-chic look. This Burnished Organza BHLDN gown has the perfect combination of sequins and silk lace while a braided gold ring out-does itself with simple beauty.
