One of the many reasons I love to help out with weddings is to see the unique style that each couple brings to their special day.  A person’s style says so much about who they are. Combine those details with the endless possibilities you can do with a wedding, and the end result is both beautiful and exciting! A lot of times, we as planners take a look into the home of the couple to find out what style best reflects them. So, here in our new series of posts, we’re taking various home and decor styles and transforming them into a unique wedding theme. First up? Modern!

This week, we’re inspired by: crisp neutrals, clean light, graphic art, pops of color, natural textiles, minimalism, geometric elements, and structured design

In addition to translating a couple’s decorating style, the style can also be translated to your attire and even your jewelry!  A structured dress makes guests take a second look – besides, how amazing is this Marchesa peplum dress!? A tungsten carbide wedding band for the groom is a bold option, while an emerald setting completes a bridal set by conveying the geometric structure and reflecting light.
